State police at DuBois On Saturday, a New York man suffered minor injuries when he fell asleep while traveling on Interstate 80 in Sandy Township, his vehicle left the road, struck an embankment, overturned multiple times and came to rest on its roof. Sandy Township Someone removed a fiberglass life-sized cow, valued at $1,500, from the Roadside CafГ© and Creamery Friday. The investigation continues. --- In separate incidents Saturday someone shot paintballs at a woman's home and her daughter's car along Sykes Street Extension, at an Admiral Dunbar Road home and at a man's home at Treasure Lake. --- No charges were filed after a Punxsutawney man was accidentally shot in the neck by his brother Saturday while they were hunting in the woods off Berhinger Highway. The man was transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center, but his injuries were not life threatening. --- Employees of the Roadside CafГ© and Creamery reported someone opened the gate to the animal pen, causing some of the animals to escape Saturday. All the animals were safely located and returned to the pen. --- On Saturday, a DuBois woman suffered a minor injury when she pulled her vehicle into the path of a vehicle driven by a Treasure Lake man. --- The investigation continues in a one-vehicle accident that happened Sunday on Larkey Town Road in which police found the vehicle on its roof with no occupants. Decatur Township The investigation continues after an employee witnessed an incident of retail theft at Goodwill when a woman drove to the side of the building and removed a red baby walker. The child's parents were staying at the Main Liner motel and were warned to keep the child away from the road. --- In an act of criminal mischief, someone removed a "no loitering" sign from the Methodist church parking lot and placed it in a nearby yard in Houtzdale. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. --- Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the Walnut Street area of Osceola Mills, where a resident reported four juveniles threw a pumpkin and damaged mailboxes near her vehicle, but the vehicle was not damaged. --- Officers assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle at Irwin Drive and Clover Street. --- An act of criminal mischief was reported in the Maple Dale trailer park when someone threw eggs at a residence. --- An abandoned vehicle was reported at Keller Tire and Auto. --- The investigation continues in an incident of harassment by communication after a resident reported receiving harassing text messages. --- Extra patrols will be provided after vehicles were reportedly being driven at a high rate of speed in the Hannah and Good streets area in Houtzdale. State police at Rockview On Oct. 25, troopers arrested a Snow Shoe man for DUI on SR 4002 in Snow Shoe Township.
